FIVE police officers are being investigated after a “shy” teen was killed by her boyfriend, just weeks after reporting being assaulted and abused by him.
Petite Katrina Makunova, 17, died after falling on a knife during a row with 21-year-old Oluwaseyi Dada.
Police say the young woman had the 17cm blade in her bag when she fell on it, pierced through her chest in Camberwell, South East London in July last year.
Killer Dada pleaded guilty to manslaughter and faces between two to ten years behind bars for the death of Katrina.
Now, the Independent Office for Police Conduct are investigating two Met Police sergeants and three constables after it was revealed the beautician had reported a series of incidents involving Dada to police before her death.
Speaking to the Sun Online, Katrina’s older brother Julius blasted cops, saying his sister wasn’t listened to despite speaking to police about Dada five times between February and June last year.
He said: “I guarantee she would still be here if that police officers working that day, if they did their job. My sister would still be here til this day.”

The couple had met on Instagram about two years ago, with Dada – nicknamed Capone – boasting of his links with gang 67 and drill rap.
And Julius claimed young Katrina was quickly taken in by her first serious boyfriend, despite his controlling nature.
He said she would beg him not to intervene, fearing Dada would become violent.
Julius said: “He was saying ‘if you ever break up with me, I’m coming to kill your mum first’.”
Since his sister’s death, he said he had since found messages from Dada to his sister, including one that wrote: “If u f*** about with a man mark my words all your family are [in serious trouble].”
Katrina had gone to the Camberwell flat to get her phone back from Dada the day she was killed, with Dada texting her just before she arrived, saying: “Let the party begin”.
A FAMILY’S TRIBUTE
But as the investigation continues, Katrina’s family have been left grappling with their loss.
Remembering his little sister, Julius said: “She was very hard working.
“She was out there working five days a week, and would ask for overtime to save up for a car.
“She was a beautiful, lovely, joyful girl.
“Her life was taken away by someone who wanted her and knew he couldn’t have her for himself.”
Katrina, one of seven siblings, had big dreams of applying to study fashion.
Julius said his little sister had told him she did not love Dada, and had said she was ending the relationship a day before her death.
He added: “As a family, we are broken now.”
IOPC INVESTIGATION
The Independent Office for Police Conduct said they were investigating the complaints the young girl had made to police.
A spokesperson said: “The contact included the police’s response to five allegations of assault and harassment made by Miss Makunova against Mr Dada between February and June 2018.
“Five Metropolitan Police officers involved in the investigation and supervision of these allegations have been notified their conduct is under investigation.
“With the conclusion of the manslaughter trial of Mr Dada we are able to announce our investigation, which was launched on 17 July 2018 following a referral from the Metropolitan Police.
An IOPC spokesperson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends and all those involved who were affected following the death of Katrina.
“While criminal proceedings were still active we felt it was inappropriate to announce our investigation, which has been underway since July 2018.

“We have identified five officers whose conduct is now under investigation and they have provided responses to the allegations.
“Other officers and members of the public have also provided witness accounts. We would like to stress the investigation is ongoing, and the fact an officer’s conduct is under investigation does not mean misconduct has been proven.”
Dada will be sentenced on January 29.
