KAREN Taylor’s ex arrived back in the Square to sort her bathroom out after a mishap while giving Bernadette a makeover.
And the pair flirted up quite the storm over the Polyfilla. But what everyone wants to know is where Mitch has been since Christmas and who the little girl he had in his van is. Here’s the tea…
Where has Mitch Baker been in EastEnders?
Mitch – who’s played by Roger Griffiths in the BBC One soap – was last seen over Christmas when he arrived in Walford along with Karen’s sister Kandice.
After Karen told him to leave, she later found Kandice hiding him in her bathroom. A furious Karen accused the pair of having a fling, but Kandice soon revealed she had arranged for Mitch – who is Keegan Baker’s dad – to sort out the Taylor’s bathroom.
As Mitch doesn’t live on the Square we can only assume he’s been at his own home – wherever that may be – since we last saw him.
But wherever he’s been and whatever he’s been up, he’s managed to gain himself a little girl, who he tried to hide in the back of his van.

Who is the little girl Mitch hid in his van?
When Mitch arrived back in the Square, the first thing he did was pass a drink and some food to someone in the back of his van, saying: ‘Here you go babe.’
Later, when the drug addict Evie Steele threatened tried to break into the van, he got a shock when a little girl, armed with a plank of wood sprang out of the back and saw him off.
Mitch came running down to find out what was going on and reminded the little one that she’s meant to be laying low.
She didn’t do a good job of laying low when she kicked a football through one of the Vic windows and when Karen told her to sling her hook, Mitch revealed she couldn’t because she’s with him.
But who is the little girl and why is Mitch hiding her? Spoilers have revealed that her name is Bailey, but why she’s been stashed in the back of Mitch’s van is anyone’s guess.
So is she a relative or is there something more sinister going on?
