THERE will be another Dancing On Ice romance, according to the show’s creative director Dan Whiston.
The ice skating pro and former three-time winner said he understands why celebs and their dance partners hook up.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, he explained: “I understand why people fall for their partners sometimes because you work so closely and have such a close relationship.
“It’s happened before and it will happen again, so I will say watch this space. Sometimes boundaries are crossed, however, sometimes it can’t be helped, things develop, things happen and love and relationships do blossom.
“So watch this space on that front.”
Like Strictly, Dancing On Ice has had its fair share of romantic sub plots over the years.
One enduring love story is that of Frankie and David Seaman.
The pair partnered on the ninth series in 2014 and went on to wed the following year.
Sylvain Longchambon also found his future wife on the show, after he danced with Samia Ghadie in 2013.
The Frenchman was also in a relationship with ex Jennifer Metcalfe when they danced together in 2011.
Canadian pro Brianne Delacourt also had a number of romances in earlier series of the show.
Dan’s comments come after show judge Jason Gardiner claimed the Dancing on Ice ‘curse’ is worse than Strictly Come Dancing’s – and that there’s more backstage scandal than viewers realise.
The 47-year-old judge spoke out about the show’s backstage antics just days before the new series begins.

While Strictly has become known for its ‘curse’ thanks to scandals such as Katya Jones and Seann Walsh’s kiss, Jason revealed the skating show is just as bad.
He told The Daily Star: “We’ve had loads of those.
“We just don’t make a song and dance about it.”
