NICK Knowles has been making a difference to people’s lives for nearly twenty years – transforming their homes and their lives.

Who is Nick Knowles?
Nick Knowles was born in Southall, Middlesex, on September 21, 1962, to parents Pat and Eddie.
He has one brother, John and three sisters – Angela, Sheila and Karen.
When he was 11, his family moved to Mildenhall, Suffolk, before moving again to Kent where he attended The Skinners’ School.
Nick was married in the 1990s and after he and his wife, with whom he had three children, separated, he met fellow TV presenter Suzi Perry and they lived together for three years.
He then met Jessica Rose Moor in 2009, they were married in 2012 and their son Eddie was born in 2014.
They separated in January 2016 but he supported her through her battle with cervical cancer which she won.
Following her recovery, Jessica decided to give their marriage a second try – but their relationship ended for good in December 2016.
The TV presenter also enjoyed a short-lived romance with ex-Emmerdale star Gemma Oaten – with the actress claiming she was dumped by text.
Nick, who lives in Andalusia, Spain, also plays rugby and has been a vegan for several years.
He is now heading into the I’m A Celebrity jungle, as one of the nine stars confirmed for the 2018 show.
What did Nick’s ex-wife Jessica Rose Moor say about him?
On January 26, 2018, Nick’s former wife Jessica, accused him of refusing to pay school fees for their son Eddie.
She claimed the TV star had gone back on a plan to send the three-year-old to public school.
Posting on Twitter she said: “As all parents can relate, children starting school is an incredibly emotional and happy time.
“I did not submit a submission for Eddie as it has been long agreed by my (soon to be ex) husband that Eddie would be privately educated — a luxury he is in the position to afford, as he has done for all his other children.
“As such, Eddie is enrolled to start private school this September (a school that me and my husband visited and chose together) except that he won’t, as I was advised by my husband’s solicitor that this promise has been withdrawn.”
She added: “To add insult to injury – like many men in his position of wealth and power he has advised he will not pay any legal fees meaning that I cannot afford to fight for our son’s education.
“My husband has also said he will not purchase a house or give a settlement of any kind for us, this is disappointing but not unexpected — some people’s generosity is only present in front of TV cameras.”
Nick furiously denied the allegations — which disappeared from Jessica’s social media feed.
The couple split in 2016, and The Sun revealed he was dating Rebecca Kearns early in 2018.
However, in July he reportedly split from her after eight months together, claiming “I’m not into dating”.
How did Nick get a job in television?
He started work as a runner before moving into production and in the early nineties he presented a show called Ridge Riders which featured a celebrity and guests riding classic motorbikes around the UK.
He then went on to host various quiz shows for the BBC including Who Dares Wins, Perfection and Guesstimation.
But Nick is best known as the host of DIY SOS which first broadcast on the BBC in 1999.
The weekly show saw a team of builders go into a viewer’s home after a DIY project has gone wrong.
In 2000, it became known as DIY SOS: The Big Build with a slight change to its format.
Nick assembles a team of local tradesmen, builders and help from the local community to rebuild or redecorate a home for a deserving family.
He also hosts the BBC game show Who Dares Wins.
Nick revealed exclusively to The Sun that he had recorded an album.

But he is likely to have earned quite a fortune during his time as high-profile TV presenter.
We do know he earns £349,000-a-year from the BBC.

When did Nick release music?
The DIY SOS presenter secretly recorded his debut album after being approached by Universal Music in early 2017.
In an exclusive interview, Nick revealed: “Music’s always been a major part of my life since I was 14 and picked up a guitar.
“I’m the kind of person who gets home from work and picks up the guitar and strums a lot.
“It’s always been part of my life and a friend of mine said to me one day ‘why don’t you do an album?’
“So he connected me up to Universal, we did a couple of test tracks and they came back and said: ‘Would you like to make an album’. It’s been really exciting.”
The album – titled Every Kind Of People – was released on November 10, 2017, with Nick releasing several videos to accompany it.
When is I’m A Celebrity 2018 on TV?
If you miss the show you can watch it on ITV+1 or catch up via the ITV hub.
The series usually runs for about three weeks and if it follows the previous format and length fans can expect this year’s jungle king or queen to be crowned around the second week of December.
This year the show is presented by Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly as Ant McPartlin takes an extended break from TV.

Viewers are invited to join the lively debates via social media and the app as well as putting their questions directly to the campmates live in the studio once they’ve left the Jungle.
This year the Extra Camp it will be hosted again by Scarlett Moffatt, Joel Dommett and Joe Swash.
