EDEN HAZARD made a phenomenal pass for Belgium against Iceland… and Chelsea fans absolutely loved it.
The 27-year-old’s tantalising through ball to create Michy Batshuayi’s opening goal has been dubbed “the best pass of the season.”
With the score locked at 0-0, the Belgian superstar knew he had to produce a moment of magic at the King Baudouin Stadium.
And he did exactly that after he received the ball to his feet while lurking on the left flank.
Hazard skillfully weaved away from his marker and then delivered an inch-perfect pass across the pitch to Thomas Meunier.
The Paris Saint-Germain star then had the time to knock the ball back across the box to Batshuayi, who calmly slotted the ball into an open net.
The Valencia star was on the scoresheet, but it was Chelsea’s talisman that received all of the praise.
After a video of the pass did the rounds on Twitter, one fan said: “Eden Hazard has progressed to another level this season. If you haven’t seen this pass, stop what you’re doing and enjoy.”
Another added: “Probably the best pass I’ve ever seen. Well done Hazard.”
As one viewer claimed it should count as Hazard’s goal, another dubbed it as: “The best pass of the season.”
