Anthony Hopkins is one of the lucky ones when it comes to the California wildfires - but just barely.
New aerial images show that the deadly Woolsey fire only just missed the legendary Welsh actor's Malibu home.
Hopkins' next-door-neighbor's home was completely leveled by the flames, which have killed three people and scorched through more than 98,000 acres in the last week.
But while much of the earth around Hopkins' home was scorched to a crisp, his beachfront property was left completely untouched.

Even more incredibly, two lawn chairs overlooking the ocean can be seen still standing serenely in the middle of his backyard.

Pierce Brosnan's $3.5million Malibu beach house also just barely came out unscathed from the fire, as seen by the scorched ground surrounding the property this week.
A pained grimace washed over Brosnan's face as he stepped out of a Land Rover and looked over the area that had been torched by flames.
The 65-year-old and his wife Keely Shaye Smith were seen returning home on Tuesday.
Smith could be seen wearing a respirator mask to protect herself from the harmful smoke and ash that was still in the air.
The James Bond star has become an outspoken supporter of relief efforts, even attending the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.
Brosnan appeared before the board and asked them to do 'everything in your power to save our community'.
'My wife and I are here today, speaking on behalf of friends, mothers, children, to give voice to their pain and their destitution on this day,' he said.

The former James Bond star then revealed that the Woolsey Fire was the worse he had ever seen in his 35 years as a Malibu resident.
'I have witnessed many fires in my community and personally experienced the devastation of those fires up close and personal,' he began.
'But none as catastrophic as the events that have taken place in our communities these past five days and nights.'
'The lives of many family, friends, and neighbors have been turned to ash, and many cannot be with us today because they are fighting to protect their homes.'
'They simply cannot get out as they fight to survive without water, electricity, food, gas, and - in some cases - shelter.'

'We have watched as our firefighters and police force have battled with overwhelming courage of heart and conviction to save our homes and our lives in conditions that have tested their resolve to the limits.'
A number of celebrities have lost their houses in the Woolsey Fire, including Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus, Gerard Butler, Neil Young, Kim Basinger, Robin Thicke, and Camille Grammer of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Aerial photos have also shown the extent of damage done to Hemsworth and Thicke's homes, which were completely leveled by the flames.
Hemsworth returned to his $2.52million Malibu mansion on Monday and shared a photo of what was left of his house on Instagram.
The picture showed a lot completely strewn with rubble, and four intact letters that spelled out 'LOVE'.
Many celebrities were forced to leave their plush properties as the fire destroyed homes and businesses across the Thousand Oaks area as well as upmarket Malibu and Calabasas

Gerard Butler also filmed the devastation of his home and smoldering neighborhood.
'It's like a war zone,' Butler told viewers as he surveyed the area on Saturday. 'Every house after a certain point is gone. What a difference a day can make to a community.'
Butler posted the videos to his Instagram on Monday, writing in the caption that his heart 'aches for all those who lost their homes and their lives in California'.
Many were also forced to evacuate last week, including the Kardashian clan, Will Smith, Caitlyn Jenner, Lady Gaga, and Simon Cowell.
Brosnan isn't the only star already becoming involved in outreach efforts.
