THREE teens have been arrested after allegedly shooting dead a wedding guest who tried to get into their car thinking it was an Uber.
Dad-of-one Christian Broder, 34, was leaving the event in Atlanta, US, when he was shot in the stomach on July 7. He died several days later in hospital.
Mr Broder, a restaurant manager, had been waiting for an Uber with a group of friends when he is said to have approached a white Dodge Charger which pulled up.
As he tried to get into the car, a passenger allegedly got out and threatened the group with a handgun before ordering them to hand over their possessions.
The group handed over their mobile phones and wallets but Mr Broder tried to ask the gunman to return his driving licence.
Police say the suspect then opened fire and shot him in the stomach.
The gunman then is then claimed to have got into the car which fled the scene.
Mr Broder, whose daughter was just nine-months-old at the time of his death, died around two weeks later surrounded by his family.
Jayden Myrick, 18, and Torrus Fleetwood, 19, and Montavious Lovejoy, 15, have been arrested in connection with his death
Police say Myrick – who has been charged with murder – was the gunman and Fleetwood was the getaway driver.

No details have been released about the alleged involvement of Lovejoy.
Broder is survived by daughter Francis and his wife Molly, a pre-kindergarten teacher.
Friends and family paid tribute to Broder as ‘friendly’, ‘very kind’ and ‘very funny’ after his death.
