THE performance UNFORGETABLE FILLY put in when successful at Haydock last month lives long in the memory.

She stormed clear to win that Listed contest by a whopping eight lengths looking better than this grade.

That victory means she carries a 3lbs penalty today but she does look better than this grade.

Agrotera was back in fourth when odds-on for that Haydock prize. She has since gone close in a French Listed race but that effort was still below her impressive Royal Ascot win.

There’s a chance she best sitting off a strong pace and those tactics are not ideal at Newmarket.

Beshaayir banged her head coming out of the stalls at Ascot last time and is worth keeping an eye on.

THE Sun should shine in the Nayef Stakes.

SUN MAIDEN looked like living up to her top-class pedigree when breaking her duck by 12 lengths at Salisbury in May. Things might not have gone to plan since but I’m not giving up hope.

There was nothing wrong with her Ribblesdale third at Royal Ascot on just her third start. She was fancied for the Gordon Stakes at Glorious Goodwood but the wheels came off in some style.

The track could have been to blame as she was clearly miles below her best. She was brushed aside by top filly Lah Ti Dar at York last time and there’s nothing of her class in today’s race.

Star Rock won twice over today’s course and distance last season and she arrives with some decent place form this year. It’s hard to see how she won’t run well.

Mrs Sippy is a promising filly but she doesn’t help herself with slow starts.

Templegate's TV tips

  • 1.50 Newmarket – Unforgetable Filly

  • 2.25 Newmarket – Sun Maiden

  • 3.00 Newmarket – Main Edition

  • 3.35 Newmarket – Mustashry

DON’T miss the main event in the Shadwell Rockfel Stakes.

MAIN EDITION‘s win in Royal Ascot’s Albany Stakes was her third victory on the spin and she was almost pushed through the rail when fancied for the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket’s July Meeting.

The form of her Sweet Solera success last month is good and she probably paid for leading some top fillies in Ireland last time.

If she gets into a rhythm she will be hard to pass.

Just Wonderful was behind my fancy at the Curragh last time. She likes to come from off the pace and that’s not easy to pull off at this track.

Dutch Treat found 1m a bit too far at Doncaster. She should go well at a decent price.

THERE’S a Must bet in the Shadwell Joel Stakes.

The drying conditions will be ideal for MUSTASHRY. Sir Michael Stoute’s hope disappointed in this race 12 months ago but the soft ground was clearly to blame.

This season he won nicely on his return before giving smart Lord Glitters a tough race at York. He got away with 7f at Doncaster two weeks ago but he’s better over today’s mile distance.

Stablemate Regal Reality is the danger. He was the beneficiary when the leaders went off too fast in a Goodwood Group 3 before switching to prominent tactics on heavy ground at Haydock last time.

I’ve no doubt he’s got more races in him.

Accidental Agent – shock winner of the Group 1 Queen Anne at Royal Ascot – is likely to need this run. He was found to be ill after running poorly in France last month and this is his prep run for the QEII Stakes.

To achieve her kick-ass figure, Hayden – who plays cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes – follows the ‘quartering’ rule. She eats only a quarter of the food on her plate, then waits 20 minutes before deciding whether she needs to eat again.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”

Kim says: “I am no super-thin Hollywood actress. I am built for men who like women to look like women.”
