A PROPERTY developer who bought a run-down seaside bungalow for £950k is set to flog it for £2.7m – after turning it into a three-story house.
Canny Spencer Tanning knocked down the property on Polzeath Beach, Cornwall immediately after buying it in 2016.
He then spent hundreds of thousands of pounds to build a four-bed house with a spa, steam room, games room, and surf store in its place.
Prospective buyers can try before they buy by renting it for an eye-watering £5,500 a week.
The stunning house was designed by Mr Tarring’s architect brother.
Polzeath is a trendy holiday spot that is popular with former Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha.
Princes William and Harry have been spotted surfing at Polzeath beach multiple times in the past.
There are a number of Michelin-starred restaurants in the area at Port Isaac, Padstow and Rock.
