And Stacey Solomon took some time off mummy duties when she made an elegant arrival at the charity ball hosted in aid of ChildLine, in London on Thursday.

The Loose Women star, 28, cut a trendy figure in her velvet blazer, complete with silver buttons, matching shorts and chic pleated blouse.

The former singer rounded off her look with delicate polka dot tights and she let her golden locks tumble down her shoulders.

Stacey took a trip down memory lane at The X Factor-themed gala, having found fame after securing third place on the ITV show on the sixth series.

ChildLine is a counselling service for children and young people in the UK provided by the NSPCC.

Just days ago, Stacey returned from her first family holiday with her sons Zach, 10, and Leighton, six, as well as her beau Joe Swash.

The four-strong group jetted off to Los Angeles where they made the most of the sandy beaches and quality time together. 

Stacey enthused she had a 'magical time' when she took to her social media platforms to share a series of snaps from their getaway.

She penned in the caption: 'I just can’t help myself. This is our first holiday together just Joe, the boys and I and I can’t tell you how magical it’s been and I’ve had to take pictures at every given opportunity.

'Today we fly home back to reality and as sad as I am to leave the sunshine I can never be down for too long - about anything with these three by my side.'
