VETERAN defender Dani Alves may not have retired yet but he’s traded in his boots for a pair of stilettos.
The 35-year-old has had plenty of time on his hands as he recovers from damage to a cruciate knee ligament injury sustained in May.
And he has seemingly taken the opportunity to consider a new career for when he enters retirement.
Paris Saint-Germain’s right-back posted a video to his 20.2 million followers of him strutting his stuff in a pair of high-heels.
Alves, famous for his fashion, laces them up before tucking his t-shirt into his boxers.
He then struts across the room and blows kisses to an imaginary audience.
Alves wrote: “Is fashion week, and I’m ready to fill in for my honey @joanasanz… sorry but no sorry.”
The former Barcelona defender added hashtags that said “I don’t care” and “model’s life”.
Despite not playing so far this season, and missing the World Cup in the summer, Alves was named in FIFA’s team of the year on Monday.
He was named in a defence alongside fellow Brazilian Marcelo and the left-back’s two Real Madrid teammates Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.
