The Bachelor's Cassandra Wood nervously admitted she had enjoyed a 'handful' of dates with Nick Cummins during a lie detector test.

During Wednesday night's episode, the 'stage five clinger' came across as besotted with the former Wallaby, prompting the interviewer to claim 'she's absolutely infatuated with Nick.' 

And later while she hugged the larrikin during a joint grilling by the expert, he hinted at Cassandra's intense feelings saying, 'it looked like she didn't want to let him go.'

Having long hinted at a brief romantic dalliance with Nick, 30, the blonde further divulged details of their history together during the interrogation.    

'I met him in a bar and literally saw him from across the room, she said, 'and I don't know, this sounds so lame but I felt like there was this moment there.' 

Stumbling through the interview, while struggling to maintain eye contact, she continued: ''We hung out a couple of times and we went on a couple dates.'
