Network Ten has released the very first teaser for Australia's next Bachelorette featuring Ali Oetjen.    

The cringeworthy promo, which appears to have been inspired by Marilyn's routine from Gentleman Prefer Blondes, shows Ali prancing down a staircase in a red gown singing Phil Colins' 'You Can't Hurry Love.'    

Later, Osher Gunsberg appears at the top of the staircase wearing a white suit, telling Ali that he will help her find 'Mr Right'.

However, eagle-eyed viewers would have noticed several elements of the teaser that embarrassingly relate to Ali's recent 'cheating scandal' with ex-boyfriend Grant Kemp.

Perhaps the most unfortunate element is the use of a staircase, given that Grant has previously claimed he caught another man 'going down on Ali on the staircase of his Los Angeles. 

'I had left to go and find my friends. I came back inside and [a man] was going down on her on my stairs. So I kicked her out of my house that night,' Grant claimed to Kyle And Jackie O in May.

Meanwhile, the trailer suffered another gaffe when Ali playfully rejects a series of suited male dancers vying for her attention, all of carried love-heart signs emblazoned with titles such as 'Mr Wrong' and 'Mr Sleaze'.

Given that Ali has been accused of cheating on Grant, the inclusion of a man holding a sign that read 'Mr Cheater' may not have been the best idea, however. 

Meanwhile, Grant has claimed he has 'legal proof' of Ali's supposed infidelity in the form of desperate text messages she sent him afterwards.

One of his friends, Sabrina Jaragosky-Hicks, also told News Corp that she witnessed Ali 'cheating' with the other man. 

Following Grant's extraordinary cheating claims in May, Network Ten released a statement that did not specifically deny the cheating allegations. 

A network spokesperson said: '[There's] two sides to the story of why they broke up. However, this is a private matter and Ali will not be commenting on the misleading claims being made by other parties or the false rumours that are being spread.

'Ali's relationship with Grant came to an end but she is very happy to have the opportunity to find love in the new season of The Bachelorette Australia.'
