And now Bristol Palin is on the sidelines as her son Tripp, nine, participates in the spin-off Dancing With The Stars: Juniors.
'I felt like a complete pageant mom, like, 'Tripp, you better smile! You better practice!'' she told Entertainment Tonight Tuesday.

The 27-year-old daughter of former Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin shares Tripp with her ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston.
At nine, Tripp is one of the youngest competitors on the show and Bristol admitted that watching him take part was 'nerve-wracking.'
'I told him to try his best,' she explained. 'I said, 'Tripp, have fun, make friends, learn some manners with girls, learn how to dance'... and that is what he did. He had such an amazing time and they are memories that he will have forever.'

Tripp is partnered with child pro Hailey Bills and adult mentor Jenna Johnson on the series.
He is one of 12 youngsters officially announced by ABC on Tuesday who are on the new show that will be hosted by Jordan Fisher and Frankie Muniz with judges Mandy Moore, Adam Rippon and Val Chmerkovskiy.
The competitors include Mackenzie Ziegler, 14, from Dance Moms; Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson, 13, from Here Comes Honey Boo Boo; Larsa and Scottie Pippen's nine-year-old daughter Sophia Pippen and MasterChef Junior winner Addison Osta Smit, 12.
Other competitors are Texas master spelling bee winner Akash Vukoti, nine; 11-year-old actress Ariana Greenblatt; Child star Hudson West from General Hospital; actor Jason Maybaum, 10; Stevie wonder's son Mandla Morris, 13; Black-ish actor Miles Brown, 13, and nine-year-old pro-skateboarder Sky Brown.
Dancing With the Stars: Juniors premieres October 7 on ABC.
