The Bachelor's Shannon Baff, 25, has revealed she suffered from depression during her stint in the mansion.

Speaking to TV WEEK on Monday, the 25-year-old car care consultant said: 'If I'm being honest, I was struggling with depression in the house.'

'I had quite a bit of anxiety. I found it difficult and the more it went on and the closer I got to the girls, the behaviour in the house got more intense, so I became more anxious,' she told the publication.

Shannon also claimed that the 'fighting' between the female contestants on the show negatively impacted her mental state.

'The fighting had a bad mental effect on me,' the Melbourne-based star said.

Shannon added that she particularly struggled with the mental impact of the series as she lived a 'peaceful life' prior to entering the mansion.

Shannon explained she took to 'writing' to help her cope with the mental strain.

However she said putting pen to paper wasn't as cathartic as she had hoped as the process often isolated her from her fellow contestants.

Warner Bros, the production company behind The Bachelor Australia, said participants are given access to mental health support at any time they choose.

To achieve her kick-ass figure, Hayden – who plays cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes – follows the ‘quartering’ rule. She eats only a quarter of the food on her plate, then waits 20 minutes before deciding whether she needs to eat again.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
