THE NINTENDO Switch was incredibly popular during Black Friday 2017 and we’re expecting much of the same in 2018.
The games console was released in March of last year and was a massive hit with huge titles on the platform including Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart and Sonic Mania Plus.
However, because the Switch was still pretty fresh when November rolled around, it meant there weren’t too many great discounts to be found on Black Friday.
Most of the bargains available were slightly discounted bundles with one game or a measly £10 slashed off the RRP.
Hopefully 2018 will be different though, as the console will be 18 months old come Black Friday.
There’s also been plenty more games released on the Switch first came out which should pave the way for some better value bundles.
What were the best Nintendo Switch deals on Black Friday 2017?
As mentioned there was a handful of retailers that took £10 off the RRP, including Amazon and Argos.
There was a short-lived deal on Amazon that allowed customers get the Switch with a copy of Super Mario Odyssey for £279.99, which sold out very quickly.
GAME offered up the Switch Rayman Legends for £289.99.
And you could get Nintendo Switch with Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild from Smyths for £309.99

Expect the major retailers to cut the price of individual controllers.
There should be a number of bundles available with the major titles Super Mario Odyssey and Mario likely to feature heavily.
