There’s still three months until December 25 but Amazon has already predicted the top 10 toys children will put on their Christmas lists.
The online retail giant claims these will be the must-have gadgets and games that will be talked about in the playground – and they include a unicorn that poos slime, Harry Potter-themed Lego and LOL Surprise.
Many of this year’s coveted toys are between £49 and £84.99, with the most expensive item on the list being the £84.99 L.O.L Surprise! Bigger Surprise! toy.
But there are some cheaper options, with the Little Live Pets Una Wrapples Toy priced at £16.99.
Even if it feels like it’s too soon to get into the festive spirit, it’s never too early to start getting ready for Christmas if you want to save money.
Back in June, research by Argos found that 4.7million Brits had already started their Christmas shopping.
Amazon releases a list of its predictions for the most popular toys every year.
Last year, it correctly said that the £38.99 Paw Patrol Sea Patroller from Spin Master Toys UK Ltd would be a smash hit.
All of the toys on Amazon’s top 10 list are on sale already.
Here is a look at what children will be begging parents for this year.

1. Little Live Pets Wrapples Toy – £16.99 – Buy Now
First on the list is this fluffy wearable “pet” which talks, sings and even moves its interactive eyes.
If this sounds like it will drive your family nuts, it’s still less hassle (and money) than a real pet if your little ones have been begging for a kitten or puppy.
Little Live Pets Wrapples Toys are available in three colours: Una, Skyo and Princeza and are available to buy now for £16.99. They are estimated to be dispatched in one to two months.
2. Chow Crown – £21.99 – Buy Now
Bored of Pie Face? There’s a new food-based family board game about to steal its crown.
Chow Crown asks players to wear a crown decorated with dangling forks that you load with your choice of food.
Your headpiece will then spin and play music as you desperately try to eat the food off the forks.
The downside? The game doesn’t come with the food.

3. Strictly Come Dancing Board Game – £28.95 – Buy Now
Your children may not appreciate this family board game as much as the other toys on this list, but Amazon predicts it will be a crowdpleaser.
Players have to answer trivia questions, win challenges and even take part in mini dance-offs.
The voice of judge Craig Revel Horwood scores after your fellow competitors vote, and it even plays the famous Strictly theme tune.
The game is reduced from £29.99 to £28.95 on Amazon and is currently in stock, with free delivery available.
4. Barbie Careers Care Clinic Ambulance – £37.49 – Buy Now
Advertised as both a toy ambulance and a hospital playset, the vehicle comes with working lights and sirens that will make any imaginative play seem much more realistic.
There’s a waiting area with a TV and a gift shop, as well as an x-ray machine and a bed to examine “patients” on.
The ambulance is reduced on Amazon from £49.99 to £37.49 and is currently in stock. It comes with free delivery.
5. Nerf Laser Ops Pro Alphapoint – £44.78 – Buy Now
The kids will be able to open the box and start shooting lasers at each other immediately with this toy.
Designed with unlimited ammo, the blasters mimic real guns with a reload button, and each shot registers with lights and sounds.
You can either face off in teams or compete as part of a free-for-all.

6. Poopsie Slime Surprise Unicorn – £49.99 – Buy Now
This cutesy toy will actually poop out glittery slime when you feed it special unicorn food.
And if you are worried about getting unicorn glitter poo all over your carpet on Christmas day, the toy comes with it’s own potty to keep the mess contained.
Poopsie Unicorn Surprise comes in four colours and will be available for £49.99 from August.
7. Paw Patrol Ultimate Rescue Fire Truck Extendable – £64.93 – Buy Now
Kids can now play with popular character Marshall’s fire truck, which comes with a 2ft extendable ladder.
It comes with a mini fire cart and working water cannons – so it might be one to encourage youngsters to play with outside.

8. LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Express Train Toy – £73.99 – Buy Now
It may not be a Hogwarts letter, but children can at least build their very own Hogwarts Express and Platform 9 3/4 out of Lego now.

It also comes with minifigures of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and other characters.

10. L.O.L. Surprise! Bigger Surprise! – £84.99 – Pre-Order Now
L.O.L Surprise is one of the most popular toys of the last few years and now there’s a bigger version containing 60 surprises that children can unbox.
The contents of the toy are under wraps until later in the month but it will contain dolls, a pet and a “Lil Sister”.
The new L.O.L Surprise is available to pre-order now and will be dispatched in the next five to seven weeks.
