SOUTHAMPTON will make a second attempt to sign Birmingham’s Che Adams this summer.
The Saints failed with a £10million bid to land the striker in January while Burnley also had a £12m package waved away.
Adams, 22, who faces former club Sheffield United tomorrow in the Championship, is certain to leave at the end of the season.
Norwich, who are on the verge of promotion to the Premier League, are also fans of Adams and are looking to give top scorer Teemu Pukki added competition next term.
Everton are also showing an interest.
Birmingham, docked nine points by the Football League for breaching financial rules, are likely to demand in excess of £15m.
The former England youth international has starred for the Blues this season – chipping in with 22 goals in 42 games in all competitions.

It was reported in February that both Arsenal and Manchester United were monitoring his situation at St Andrew’s.
Adams netted the winner in Birmingham’s 1-0 victory against Leeds on the weekend to put a dent in the Whites’ automatic promotion hopes.
And he will be hoping to scupper the Blades’ promotion charge tomorrow evening as Garry Monk’s side look to win back-to-back games for the first time since February 9.
