"Many Photos" - Pochettino raises doubts over his Spurs future as they get set to usher in new era

MAURICIO POCHETTINO has cast a cloud over Tottenham’s unveiling of their spanking new £850million stadium.

Boss Poch raised fresh doubts about his Spurs future and wants them to prove they have the will to become one of Europe’s elite clubs.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino has suggested it is up to supremo Daniel Levy to show that Tottenham  can now finally take a seat at the top table

They will walk out in front of 62,000 fans at their shiny new ground for the first official game tonight against Crystal Palace.

But Pochettino, who has four years left on his contract, said: “It is about Daniel Levy, it is about talking, and whether I am going to be involved or not — that is the decision of the club.

“We need to think like a big club and that is the most important step we need to make. To be close to the way that the big clubs think.

“If you want to compare to Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus or Real Madrid, you can’t think you are close when Tottenham had a capacity of 36,000.

“Of course, you will say to me ‘With you? Without you?’ I don’t know. That is about Daniel.

“But I think my responsibility, like it was five years ago, is to tell the club ‘Now, we’ve finished the new stadium, we are going to think like a big club’.”

Star striker Harry Kane admits he is bowled over by the new surroundings. He said: “There are little bits that catch your eye and you think ‘wow, it’s like the old White Hart Lane’.

“I think it’s the best in the world. We’ve got to make it an historic stadium by getting some trophies.
