TYSON FURY believes Deontay Wilder wants to kill him this weekend.
The 6ft 7in American was roundly attacked by the boxing fraternity back in March when he said he wanted a dead opponent on his record.
The crass comments understandably went down terribly and Fury still has those words ringing in his ears as the days tick down to the WBC heavyweight title clash.
He said: “Wilder is not coming to play games, he is coming to take me out, he says he wants to put me in a bodybag.
“From now on until the fight we are enemies because he is trying to take food out of my children’s mouths and I am trying to do the same to him.”
Wilder put the gruesome statement down to his belief his alter ego The Bronze Bomber takes over his body on fight night and he would not be directly responsible for a death in the ring.
But he insists that he has installed a fear in Fury that has hit all of his senses.
He said: “He is definitely terrified, he is definitely fearful of me.
“I have been doing this for a long time, I am 40 fights in, I know what fear feels and looks and smells like.”
The Gypsy King left his four children and pregnant wife Paris at home for nine weeks of his California training camp.

The 30-year-old missed his 10-year wedding anniversary and has starved and trained himself down from 28 stone down to around 20.
And he insists he had to quit his Morecambe home and his young family to win the one title missing from his collection.
He said: “I have had to make sacrifices.
“A fighting man cannot get in to fight mode while he is being around his wife and kids.
“You cannot mix father-time and fighting-time.”
