THIS Morning viewers were outraged today as a former Big Brother question insisted children should be banned from pubs.
Andy West appeared on the show to debate the topic and said he thinks all kids should be banned from pubs so adults can relax and enjoy themselves without having to mind their language or subject matter.
To demonstrate how children can run a mock in pubs, Andy got up and started kicking host Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes’ chairs before running across the studio and then climbing over the sofa.
As he charged around, the presenters looked shocked and told him off for stepping on the couch with his shoes on.
Andy’s behaviour and comments sparked quite the debate on social media as well as in the studio.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: “#thismorning what an obnoxious man whining about pubs/children just so he can tell dirty jokes and swears.”
Another added: “I’m stunned at how ridiculous Andy West is being about children in pubs. Banning kids in pubs is discrimination for the parents. You are the obnoxious one not the parents who enjoy a family meal with their kids.”
A third agreed, writing: “Omg was this guy ever a kid????? For someone who loves the pub this much I bet he spent some time in the legion as a kid like the rest of us!”
A fourth simply wrote: “Attention seeking w****!!! I’d ban him from a pub.”
But thankfully for Andy, who appeared on the 2016 series of Big Brother, many viewers agreed with his stance on kids in pubs.

One viewer who agreed tweeted: “I never took my son (24) in pubs when he was little. I believe that patrons should have the right to a quiet pint.”
Another wrote: “I am with @AndyWestTV. Keep your kids out of the pub. It takes twice the effort to pretend they’re sweet and you’ve done a good job when I’m having a drink.”
A third posted: “I’m a parent and I have to say I kind of agree with him when u go to a pub on a night out u don’t want to have to watch what u say cos of little ears and mums and dads shouting at u for swearing and being loud.”
A fourth added: “Guys got a point! There are family pubs for a reason!!”
