STRICTLY’s Giovanni Pernice was furious after Faye Tozer’s dancing was criticised on It Takes Two last night – shooting a murderous glance at the camera.
The 28-year-old appeared to take enormous exception to comments from former Strictly pro Ian Waite, first holding his head in his hands, then visibly fuming at the remarks.
Ian was winding Giovanni up even before he’s got on to the criticism, saying: “This is looking lovely. Gorgeous. Obviously I’m saying that because Giovanni’s here.”
That at least got a weak smile from Gio, but that wasn’t the case once the advice started coming.
“What I did notice here – be careful Faye – because sometimes you turn your foot out too much so you don’t get your lovely heel leads in there,” said Ian.
The camera then cut to Giovanni, who had a face like thunder and was looking menacingly towards the former Strictly dancer.
“It’s only some of them,” Ian added nervously, as Gio shot daggers at him across the studio.
“Giovanni’s coming to get you in a minute!” host Zoe Ball joked. Well, at least we think she was joking.
Faye and Gio have grown close over the weeks on Strictly, with the Italian being seen feeding the married Steps star as she celebrated her 43rd birthday in London last week.
The pictures caused a storm when they were released, with fans fearing the Strictly curse was about to strike again, but the pair poked fun at the incident by sharing a video of Giovanni pulling lettuce from the singer’s mouth.

The dancer tweeted the short clip and wrote next to it “No comment!” followed by a laughing emoji.
And they weren’t the only ones to poke fun at the snaps – Faye’s husband Michael Smith also mocked the picture of Giovanni feeding her.
Faye and Giovanni will follow up last week’s pasa doble with a waltz on Saturday.
