SERGIO AGUERO has revealed why he decided to turn into a silver fox in the box.
The Argentina international showed off his new grey haircut just before Manchester City’s derby day win over rivals Manchester United.
Aguero, 30, admitted he couldn’t resist turning down the chance to have a garish new style just so he could win a bet with his brother.
And the City striker has claimed he is now better than Premier League favourite Fabrizio Ravanelli!
Speaking ahead of City’s trip to West Ham at the weekend, Aguero told Sky Sports: “He challenged me, ‘don’t you dare do it before the game against United’, and I did it. My son likes it and is happy.
“I’m better than Ravinelli! More beautiful, no? I like it.”
Ravinelli’s inspiration obviously rubbed off on the prolific scorer after he bagged the second in City’s impressive 3-1 win.
His ninth Manchester derby goal moves him level with the legendary Bobby Charlton and a step closer to matching Wayne Rooney who leads the pack with 11.
Aguero has looked at his scintillating best at times this season and he puts it down to the knee surgery he had before the World Cup.
He added: “I had some discomfort, and then at the end of last season I decided to go for surgery before the World Cup.

“Since then, I feel great, I don’t feel pain at all, and that’s probably why I’m enjoying it more and feeling fitter.
“Luckily I am doing well and Pep is happy. I try to do the things he wants, and help the team, I’m obviously the first guy who starts the pressing and that’s why I can do it more often.
“I feel really happy now, and hopefully I don’t need to think of any more injuries and can enjoy my last few years here at the club, and especially winning trophies.
“It’s not easy to win the Premier League again, to do it back to back, but in the dressing room I see the same energy, the same attitude as last season in my team-mates, and that makes me feel confident
“So if we keep doing the same things, keeping focus, I think we have a big chance to win it back to back.”
