New photo ‘No more, no more’: Brazilian man cries for help after he tried mugging a female jiu-jitsu novice

A mugger in Brazil did not prove to be so tough after all when he tried stealing a cell phone from a woman.

Magdeel da Silva, 18, was screaming in tears once Sabrina Leites, 22, placed him in an arm-bar while they laid on the street pavement awaiting authorities to arrive.

Da Silva could be heard crying into submission yelling 'no more, no more' while Leites gave herself a thumbs up at one point during the viral cell phone video

Leites, who  has been practicing jiu-jitsu for four years, was standing outside her family home in Manaus, Brazil last Tuesday afternoon and was opening a gate to enter her sister's bedroom when da Silva and another accomplice suddenly pulled up on a motorcycle and demanded her cell phone.

Leites, who is studying to be a flight attendant and holds a white belt in the mixed martial arts sport, decided to defend herself since four cell phones had already been stolen in prior home invasions, according to Brazilian news outlet D24AM

Da Silva's unidentified cohort managed to escape on the motorcycle and da Silva himself tried to make a run for it as well.

Leites' neighbor saw the mugging attempt and ran the teenage criminal over with his car.

The young woman then used one of the most common jiu-jitsu techniques to keep da Silva from escaping the scene, keeping it steady for 20 minutes until the cops arrived.

'When you have the technique you  know how to act in a situation of immobilization because all this is a technique of immobilization,' Leites said.

Despite utilizing her acquired mixed martial arts training to fend off the attack - she told news outlet G1 she tossed the phone inside the home - Leites understood the dangers behind her decision to go up against two dangerous men.

'They just got scared by saying 'pass the phone'. I saw that they had nothing, so I reacted,' Leites said.

'If they were armed, I would have never reacted.'

Da Silva was arrested and charged with attempted robbery.
