As party season kicks in it's a time for fun and celebration - not to mention dark circles and pale, puffy skin the next morning as you battle a hangover.
Award-winning make-up artist and former model Lissy Puig, 25, from Berkshire has revealed the six-step process to cover up the signs of hangover and leave you glowing.
According the Lissy, the most important step is to make sure that you have the best blank canvas possible.
'If you removed your makeup at all last night, it likely wasn’t your best effort,' she explained.
'Cleanse, tone, moisturise and if you’re looking for a skin saver, use The Ordinary Salicylic Acid after cleansing, to undo last nights damage and get to work on glowy skin.
'Prep the lips with Lanolips Lip Balm or even better, use a lip scrub as well.'
Read on to for Lissy's six step guide to covering the sins of the night before with make-up so that nobody will ever guess you've had a night on the town.

Award-winning make-up artist and former model Lissy Puig, 25, has revealed the six-step process to cover up the signs of hangover and leave you glowing
STEP ONE: CONCEAL PUFFY EYELIDS
Apply MAC Paintpot in Painterly or your concealer as a base over eyelids to knock back redness.
Set this with a pale skin colour eyeshadow or translucent powder. Run a light, warm shadow in the crease of the eye socket, or over the lid for hooded eyes.
Avoid anything too pink or dull today - aim for warmer light orange tones to brighten and distract.
Rodial’s eyeshadow palette has perfect neutrals, not too warm not too cool.
STEP TWO: DEFINE THE EYES
Use a brown liner on the outer corners of the eye for a little definition and smudge out with any angled brush.
Apply oodles of mascara - to curled lashes for extra lift if you fancy.

Before and after! Lissy used concealer on the eyelids, cream blush on the cheek and radiant highlighter on the face to make the signs of the night before fade away
STEP THREE: MAKE YOUR SKIN GLOW
MAC natural radiance base primer can be applied with your foundation brush or hands to inject glow under your base. Then Pericone MD no foundation, foundation, is the perfect natural pick-me-up. My go-to brush is MAC 187.
Any nice glowy liquid foundation is perfect here. You may want to hide from the world, but now isn’t the time to cake heavy foundation onto tired skin. For a little more coverage apply more or go over with a beauty blender.

According to Lissy, prepping the skin with a thorough cleanse is the key to boosting your glow before applying make-up
STEP FOUR: CONCEAL DARK SPOTS AND ADD BLUSH
Dab on concealer. For very dark circles NYX Dark Circle Concealer is incredible either on its own or under your normal concealer. Set concealer and any oily areas with translucent powder, if necessary.
To keep it fresh dab cream blush on with your fingers. Run a little bronzer round the edges of your face and under cheek bones to add to that colour.
STEP FIVE: ADD EVEN MORE RADIANCE
Add liquid or powder highlighter on your high points, such as cheek bones, the centre of your eyelids, brow bones, cupids bow and a little on the bridge of your nose and centre of the chin if you don’t have oily skin.
STEP SIX: DEFINE BROWS
To finish off, groom your brows as usual, NYX pencils are amazing, really competing with the more expensive brands and add a lip balm or moisturising gloss with a pop of colour.
Finally, drink a big glass of water and, you’ll at least look like you've had eight hours sleep, even if you don't feel it!
