And Rachel Stevens has occasionally taken to Instagram to offer a glimpse inside the stunning home which she shares with her husband Alex Bourne, 41, and their two daughters, Minnie, four, and Amelia, seven.  

The former Strictly Come Dancing star, 40, has ensured their family property is the perfect blend of luxe features and cosy comforts, strung together with neutral colours throughout.

Her monochrome staircase features in many of her mirror selfies as she shows fans her different outfits on Instagram. 

A black banister with glass features offsets her cream walls, and a black and white patterned carpet adds a stylish dash of interest to the area.

Another selfie-spot which the singer regularly snaps herself in front of is a huge round mirror, which is set above a Japanese-inspired fish painted sideboard.

With a wide range of chic ensembles, Rachel has plenty of space to store her glamorous garments, with a bulging walk in wardrobe helping to keep things organised.

While she was a pin-up to many during her pop career, Rachel, who turned 40 in April, recently confessed that she feels more confident with her appearance than ever, now she is older.

Speaking to The Sun last year, she said: 'I definitely feel like I've got more confident and sexier as I've got older.

'Your body is always changing, which is great, but you know more what you want out of life too, and that inner confidence gives you more sexiness.'

Rachel shot to fame as part of beloved pop group S Club 7 - alongside Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Jo O'Meara, Paul Cattermole, Hannah Spearritt and Bradley McIntosh.

The British band sold over 10 million records during their five-year run back in 1998, before delighting fans with a UK reunion tour in 2015.
