I’M a Celebrity’s Anne Hegerty is a devout Christian who will perform mass every Sunday in the camp.
The star of ITV’s The Chase has even consulted a priest to discuss how she will be able to worship in the jungle, The Sun Online can exclusively reveal.
Anne, 60, has also taken in a prayer book alongside her, as well as a handheld fan as her luxury item.
Mark Labbett, Anne’s pal of ten years and co-star on Bradley Walsh’s daytime quiz show, told us: “Anne is a devout catholic so she has been allowed to take in a prayer book.
“On Sunday, off camera, she will do her on mass.
“She had a chat with her priest before she went out there to see what religious observances she could do in the jungle.
Asperger’s people like to plan as much as possible so they know what’s coming. The unknown is doubly scary for them.
“From experience I know Anne will have everything planned on any journey she’s going on.”
Tonight Anne – also know as The Governess – will take on the Monstrous Monoliths Bushtucker Trial after being voted for by the public.
During her short stint in the jungle so far, Anne has been movingly honest about her autism diagnosis.

Mark believes that she uses it as a strength in her day job as a quizmaster on The Chase – and is a force to be reckoned with.
He added: “As Anne points out it’s not a disability it’s a different way of thinking.
“For her particular job it’s a strength in many respects because she has that ability to focus and think of facts, it’s very useful.
“Although after the keys challenge in the first episode Anne was a bit shocked and stunned, she talked her way through it.

“She doesn’t have the filter, so where other would bottle it up and you wouldn’t necessarily think she’s feeling that way, she lets the world know.
“In a way she externalises it to deal with it and then thinks, ‘right, time to get on with it.’
“She won’t bottle it all up and then have a complete mega meltdown. She will get it off her chest quite quickly, has a little cry and then gathers herself together.
“She has got a will of iron that lady, she’ll be fine.”
