New photo EuroMillions £76million jackpot winner has just two days left to claim the prize if they lost the ticket

EUROMILLIONS chiefs are stepping up their hunt for a £76million winner — who only has until Sunday to claim it if they have lost the ticket.

The slip was bought in the Boston and Skegness area of Lincolnshire for the November 2 draw.

Local mayors have been busy drumming up publicity and National Lottery bosses have also plastered the area with posters.

The deadline to make a claim if the ticket has been lost is December 2.

Camelot has the discretion to pay prizes for stolen, lost or destroyed lotto tickets only if the player has submitted a claim in writing within 30 days of the draw.

After that the ticketholder has a May 1 deadline.

National Lottery spokesman Andy Carter said: “We’re urging everyone to try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags, down the back of the sofa.

“Someone could literally be sitting on a fortune.

“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes to claim their fortune.”
