A BRITISH mum-of-four who married a US white supremacist inmate with ‘Hatred’ tatted on his forehead says her family hates the inking.
Heavily-tattooed Travis Thompson, 33, who also has SS emblazoned under his left eye, is currently serving eight years and seven months for burglary and gun offences.
Becci, a carer, from Staines, Surrey, wed the convict last Friday in what was only the EIGHTH time they had ever met.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain today, she revealed her mother’s ‘old-fashioned values’ are preventing her from taking to her new husband’s appearance.
“My mum’s quite old school when it comes to stuff.”
“My mother, unfortunately, doesn’t agree with it, my brother and my friends think I’m mad.”
Thompson, a former tattoo artist, plastered the infamous hatred tattoo across his forehead shortly after his father passed and even Becci admitted he had since had second thoughts.
She said: “It is one of the tattoos that he does regrets.
He got it while he was going through a bad time and when he was in the gangs, they tend to mark themselves.”
Thompson is due to be released in 2023 and Becci isn’t worried about introducing the former white supremacist gang member to her four children.
She told presenters Susanna Reid and Ben Shepard: “They’re fine with it, I’ve been very open with the children and as much as they can understand.
“His actions have been quite great towards me, he’s really great with the kids when he’s spoke to them, he sends them Christmas cards.
“There’s no reason to be concerned. He did something wrong but he’s served his time.”
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Becci revealed that despite his crime sheet, she believes Thompson will be the perfect dad to her children, aged nine, seven, six, and five.
Becci, who split from their father five years ago, says: “My kids have never had a good relationship with men. Their dad doesn’t do too much with them. It’ll be nice for them to have a male figure in their lives.
“Travis is really excited about being a dad to my kids. He says he’s a big kid himself. And one day we’d like to have kids of our own.
“I wouldn’t have married him if he was a murderer. Obviously I have my children to think of.”
Becci fell in love with former gang member Thompson after connecting on writeaprisoner.com, a website that links single women to inmates.

Not troubled by her husband’s criminal past, Becci also looked past the fact that while in jail he joined a racist gang.
She says: “He was in a white supremacist gang. It’s a protection thing in jail. They brainwash you. You’ve got a lot of angry people in there.
“You’ve got people in for murder, people who’ve done really awful things who are in there for life. It’s the battle for who’s the toughest. He doesn’t believe in what they believe.
“When he realised it was about power, money and control he decided it wasn’t for him. That’s when he decided to be an inactive member.
