West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has denied new boy Lucas Perez refused to warm up and enter their match against Everton as a second-half substitute.
The summer signing was named on the bench for the clash at Goodison Park, in which the Hammers entered the second half with a 2-1 lead.
Sky Sports reported that he refused to warm up after West Ham increased their margin to 3-1.

Sky Sports reported that Perez refused to warm up during the second half of the match
Perez was seen on camera in conversation with coach Xavi Valero while looking disinterested
'Maybe it looks like he refused but when I thought Marko [Arnautovic] was injured I called Lucas,' Pellegrini said.
'Then when I saw he was sitting on the bench and [Michail] Antonio was working I made the change with him. There wasn’t time for Perez to warm-up again and the change had to be made immediately.’
Cameras picked up footage of the former Arsenal man sat on the bench with a solemn look on his face.
Perez was being spoken to by one of the Hammers' coaching staff - fellow Spaniard and goalkeeping coach Xavi Valero - but appeared to be disinterested as the match continued.
The Hammers parted with £10million to bring the 30-year-old to the club in August, with Perez signing a three-year deal.
After making three appearances so far for the club, Perez is yet to score his first Hammers goal.
Boss Manuel Pellegrini opted to start the match at Goodison with first choice forward Marko Arnautovic leading the line, while also handing a first start to another summer signing Andriy Yarmolenko, who scored twice.
