BARCELONA star Munir El Haddadi’s birthday bash came to an abrupt end as police were called to settle a row over the bar bill.

Officers arrived at the exclusive Tiffany’s nightclub in Madrid where El Haddadi was celebrating his 23^rd birthday with over 30 friends.

The night took a turn for the worse when the Spanish international was handed a £14,230 bill as he was about to leave.

According to El Mundo, the forward refused to pay as he claimed he had agreed a price with the club before he arrived which was then doubled, and then the police were called in.

The price went up due to the club adding on extra costs as the striker and pals partied into the night.

Once the police arrived on the scene, Munir finally agreed to settle his tab after an agreed discount of £890.

The forward began his career at Atletico Madrid before moving to the Nou Camp in 2011.

Munir scored on his senior debut for Barca four years ago when the Catalan giants scooped the domestic treble.

He earned his first cap for the Spain national team in September 2014, and unsuccessfully appealed to FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport to switch allegiance to Morocco for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

After loan stints at Valencia and Alaves, Munir is back at Barca and has featured in three games this term for Ernesto Valverde’s side.

The La Liga champions continue the defence of their title after the international break on Saturday when they go to San Sebastian to take on Real Sociedad.
