New photo Murphy insists Leicester must build momentum against Wasps

Geordan Murphy has urged Leicester to continue building momentum in the wake of Matt O'Connor's dismissal as head coach.

The Tigers responded to O'Connor's exit after the first game of the season by dismantling Newcastle 49-33 and their next assignment under the interim guidance of Murphy is a midlands derby against Wasps.

'We showed a real intent against Newcastle last week, especially in the first half, and the onus is on us to carry that forward into the whole game,' said Murphy ahead of the trip to the Ricoh Arena.

'It was a good win but there is plenty to work on. Now we've got another tough game against a quality Wasps side.'

Manu Tuilagi's latest comeback from injury continues with the England centre looking to build on his fine performance against Newcastle.

Tuilagi is making his 100th start for Leicester while his fellow British and Irish Lions Dan Cole earns his 200th appearance for the club.

Wasps' New Zealand fly-half Lima Sopoaga, a new recruit for this season, starts for the first time while England number eight Nathan Hughes has recovered from a hamstring injury to feature in the back row.

'We have had some really tight and exciting games against our closest geographic rivals in recent times both here and at Welford Road, and I'm sure this will be no different,' Wasps boss Dai Young said.

'Leicester put in a really good performance against Newcastle last week and got an excellent win.

'I thought they looked full of energy, were very aggressive at the tackle area, carried really strongly and generally looked the kind of force they have so often been over the years.'

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
