A BABY has been left covered in wasp stings after hundreds of wasps invaded a family home.
Mum-of-two Starrain Johnson has been left horrified by the wasp infestation that has turned her front room into an insect graveyard.
Photos show the insects swarming over a window ledge and carpet of the lounge in Huddersfield, West Yorks.
They have spread to her bedroom and repeatedly stung 13-month-old daughter Ryesha.
Starrain, who also shares the council flat with her son Rajay, 12, believes the invasion may have been sparked by a wasps’ net falling through an open window two months ago.
She told the Huddersfield Examiner: “I heard a rumble like something had fallen over and the wasps were coming out of everywhere.
“I’m worried for my daughter.
“I woke up and found them in my bedroom stuck to the window.
“All I can hear is buzzing and I can feel the wasps touching me.”
Starrain has been desperately trying to stem the flow of insects by taping up gaps and spraying insecticide.
She has contacted pest control but claims her council landlord have failed to help with the problem.

She said: “I’ve been reporting the problem since July and nothing has been done.
“They only came and looked last week and said they couldn’t do anything.”
