JOSE MOURINHO has quipped his Wembley tumble was deliberate as he wanted to give people something to talk about.
The Manchester United boss fell over as he made his way into the national stadium to watch England’s defeat to Spain.
And he joked he deserved a yellow card for his “dive” as he prepares for the trip to Watford.
Mourinho, 55, said: “It’s the people that call me and ask me to fall at Wembley because they need news from me.
“I did it on purpose so you [the media] could speak a little bit about myself.”
Asked if he hurt himself, Mourinho added: “No. It was a good dive and I protected my phones.
“No penalty and maybe a yellow card.”

Mourinho was also quizzed on Paul Pogba’s future amid reports the Frenchman wants to quit Old Trafford.
He fumed: “If Pogba doesn’t tell me he wants to leave, it’s because he wants to stay.
“That is my conclusion. If I watch Mr Raiola on the screen saying the player wants to leave, and that he is organising a way for him to try to leave, then I will believe it.
“At this moment, I am in the dark. The only thing that is clear is the player — never in all these days we were together — has never told me he wants to leave.
“Paul came back after the World Cup the week before we started the Premier League.
“We are together two months or so. He never told me he wants to leave. Never.”
