New photo Hollyoaks’ Mandy Richardson to share own horrifying abuse truth to help devastated survivor step-son Ollie Morgan

MANDY Richardson is going to relive her childhood abuse horror to help her step-son Ollie Morgan in Hollyoaks next week.

The restaurant manager – who is played by actress Sarah Jayne Dunn in the Channel 4 soap – was abused by her father as a youngster but has bottled up the ordeal in an effort to move on with her life.

Mandy is going to reveal her own painful past in order to help Ollie

Viewers have watched as Mandy’s step-son Ollie was groomed and abused by evil football coach Buster Smith.

Last week they rejoiced as Buster was finally arrested after Ollie bravely opened up about the abuse to the police with fellow survivor Brody Hudson’s help.

But as he continues to struggle with what has happened to him, Mandy is going to share her own story in an effort to help him.

Next week she will catch Ollie skipping school and instead of punishing him, will realise that she has to encourage him to speak about his trauma.

Ollie is struggling to cope with the abuse he suffered at Buster’s hands

As she convinces him to open up, Ollie reveals that his school is abuzz about what happened to him in the wake of Buster’s arrest.

To help reassure him that she understands what he is going through, she tells him about her own ordeal.

Ollie will be relieved to finally have someone to confide in who really understands what he has been going through.

But after the revelation that Mandy was abused too, and his own dad Luke was raped, Ollie has more to think about.

Hollyoaks boss Bryan Kirkwood recently told The Sun Online’s Soap Bubble column that Buster would remain in the show as the trial gets underway.

He said: “Although Buster has left the show for a moment, his story will continue into January next year when we play Buster’s trial.

“We have a responsibility to tell the right ending for the story but we also have a responsibility to tell the truth.”

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
