New photo Fred West's daughter fears her serial killer father had more than 30 victims

The daughter of Fred and Rose West has urged her mother to confess as she revealed she believes her father killed up to 30 women.

Mae West, 46, has opened up about the horror of having serial killer parents, and living in the ‘house of horrors’ in Gloucester where women and girls were raped and murdered.

As children Mae and her siblings would be locked in the basement, beaten and sexually abused by their father before his arrest in 1992.

Fred West is known to have killed at least 12 women, including his own daughter before being caught and taking his own life in prison.

Rose West was convicted of ten murders.

However, Mae West believes there were many more victims of the horrifying killings which took place between 1967 and 1987.

She told Good Morning Britain: ‘I don’t know (how many)– they do say they never stopped.

‘I was really young, it was the Seventies, we had tenants it was normal to see people coming in and out. With Heather we thought she ran away. I used to think everything they did was strange. That must have been when they were doing things.

'We didn’t see any evidence of that at all. People ask me do you think he stopped and I don’t think he did. I think he stopped using the house.'

When asked if it was likely her parents killed more than thirty – Mae said ‘yeah’.

Despite believing her mother’s tales of being coerced by her husband for a decade, Mae West now wants Rose to tell the truth about what she did.

She told Good Morning Britain: ‘She was just way over the top for the littlest of things and that was what you were looking out for

‘She would beat one of us and then she’d shout ‘I’m in the mood now’ and just do you all.’

‘I just wish mum would confess to what her part is to give closure to everybody.

'She hints maybe she got involved with things she should not have.' 

Mae was in the house when her parents were ‘doing things’ to other girl, she said.

‘They would lock us in the basement,’ she added.

‘These must have been times they were doing things

‘They would give you a bucket at night and the lightbulb would be taken out and doors locked.

Fred and Rose West were arrested in 1992 after police were told one of their daughters had been raped 

‘I would get up early and get dressed before he would come and rip the covers off me.’

Mae West said there were times they would look forward to their father coming home.

She said: 'People who have found out - honestly think it’s going to be a house of horrors.

'They can’t see you had normal meal times, TV, there was a lot of normality to it and there was the other side that wasn’t

'Sometimes he was funny and we used to look forward to him coming home from work. 

'When you’re a kid if you knew he was coming home you’d have jeans on and go to bed fully dressed.'
