New photo Comedian Emily Heller wears Getty Images purse to Emmys

A comedian came up with a genius — and pretty funny — way to make sure photographers snapped her picture on the Emmy Awards red carpet on Monday night.

She simply made sure to give them a shout-out with her outfit.

Emily Heller — a producer on the Bill Hader show Barry — decided not to go with a bag by some fancy designer for the all-star event last night. Instead, she toted a purse with the words 'Getty Images' printed across the front.

Getty Images in one of the forefront photo agencies that covers news and Hollywood events, and photographers from Getty naturally had spots on the red carpet on Monday.

To ensure she didn't blend in on a carpet packed with A-listers, Emily came up with the clever way to get at least that one photo agency's attention.

While the funny young woman was all glamour in a brown and gold geometric dress and jewelry, the most statement-making element of her outfit was pretty plain — and featured a very prominent logo.

It appears the comedian had the agency's white logo custom-printed on the bag for the occasion.

Her efforts have certainly been appreciated on social media, with commenters calling it 'brilliant,' 'amazing,' 'hilarious,' and 'the ultimate troll.'

She wrote: 'You know who was really excited to take pictures of this purse? @gettyimages. You know who wasn’t? Every other photographer there'

'One way to get press on the red carpet (at least from Getty Images),' quipped one photojournalist.

Emily herself explained that things went exactly how one might think they would when it came to the photographers.

'You know who was really excited to take pictures of this purse? @gettyimages. You know who wasn’t? Every other photographer there,' she wrote.

Unsurprisingly, nearly every image taken of Emily from last night is from Getty.

One Twitter user who works as a photo editor tweeted that she could only find a single non-Getty photo — and it was a frame in which Emily has the bag turned to the side, hiding the logo.

Emily currently works on a podcast called Baby Geniuses. She has appeared on TV series including Ground Floor, Adam Ruins Everything, and You're the Worst.

She's done stand-up on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Conan, and @midnight, and was a writer for the series Crowded.
