DEAR DEIDRE: I WAS a regular volunteer at a charity shop and I recently explained to the manager there that I want to dress as a female while I wait for my gender reassignment.
I am 27 and have been at odds with myself for being male since my early teens.
The manager said that was fine but, a few weeks later, she said they’d have to let me go as the shop is so quiet.
Can I sue for unfair dismissal? I just want to be me.
