THIS was the heartbreaking moment a grandmother got her dying wish to see one last ocean sunset.
Carmen Leon de la Barra was surrounded by her family as she took in the views Brighton-Le-Sands, south of Sydney, for the last time.

She had been battling bowel cancer in a palliative care unit and doctors had told her family she had just days left to live.
Carmen died just two days after seeing the sunset.
She had decided that one of the last things she wanted to do was to see the beach that she and her husband Antonio had walked along every day since 1995.
After she became ill, the hour-long commute to the beach became too much for Carmen and the couple stopped going.
Her family enlisted the help of NSW Ambulance paramedics and charity Dreams2Live4 to get her to the sunset a final time.
Wrapped up in a blanket with a Thermos of tea in hand, Carmen was wheeled onto the shore to see the sunset on Wednesday.
DYING WISH
She was surrounded by her husband, their three children and their partners and her grandchildren.
Carmen’s daughter Tatiana Salloum said her mum knew where they were and managed to open her eyes.
She said Carmen was “so happy” to be there.
Heart-wrenching pictures show Antonio lovingly leaning over his wife’s bed as they enjoyed a final sunset together.
Tatiana contacted Dreams2Live4 on Tuesday and within a day the plans were set.
She told the Daily Telegraph: “When I told them Mum only had a few hours or days to live it became their mission to make it happen.
“Myself, my father, my two brothers, partners and seven of the nine grandchildren all headed to the beach.”
