"Many Photos" - Hilary Duff's Co-Star Drinks Her Breast Milk And Thinks "It's Delicious"

Going back to work after having a baby is hard. For moms that breastfeed, one of the challenges they often face is finding an area where they can pump without being interrupted.

Many workplaces and co-workers are becoming more accommodating to new mothers, but some of them may be a little too accommodating.

This week, after a four-month maternity leave, Hilary Duff finally returned to work on the set of her hit TV show Younger, but it wasn't without controversy.

During a table read of the script for the sixth season of the show, Duff's co-star Nico Tortorella asked to try some of her breast milk.

Since Duff has been pumping at work, she had some readily available, but was not expecting Tortorella to actually go through with the strange plan.

To everyone's surprise, the 30-year-old took a swig of the milk while someone filmed the entire thing.

The now-deleted video was posted on Instagram with the caption, "full proof that @hilaryduff's milk is delicious."

“Oh my God, it is delicious!" Tortorella said after taking the sip. "Can I have some more?”

Duff, who also shared the video on her Instagram Story, jokingly called Tortorella "a sicko" for drinking the breast milk.

While Duff and Tortorella had a good laugh about all of it, the mom of two joked that her daughter, Banks Violet, is "gonna be p***ed" when she learns that her food has been shared.

If you're really doubtful that Tortorella is telling the truth, then it might help to know that many others who have tried breast milk have said that it tastes like a milder and sweeter version of cow's milk. Some even claim it tastes like melted ice cream, sweetened water, and cantaloupe.

While it certainly is very bold of Tortorella to sample Duff's breast milk, they aren't the only adventurous one.

The former child star previously revealed that after giving birth in October she turned her placenta into a smoothie and drank it.

"It was the most delightful smoothie I've ever had," Duff said during an appearance on the Informed Pregnancy podcast in November. "I haven't had a smoothie that delightful since I was 10. It was calorie-filled with juice and fruit and everything delicious."

Duff explained that she started drinking placenta smoothies after reading theories on why it's beneficial, including its ability to stop post-birth bleeding and prevent postpartum depression.

“I did research and none of it’s, like, totally proven, but I don’t know — I’ve already gone down this road of doing all this different stuff,” Duff added. “I’m like, I might as well.”
