New photo Richard Madeley, 62, looks dapper in white t-shirt and jeans

He won over audiences once again after returning to the small screen with a guest spot on Good Morning Britain over the summer.  

And TV legend Richard Madeley appeared in good spirits as he stepped out for a stroll in London on Friday afternoon.

The 62-year-old former This Morning host looked his usual dapper-self in a casual ensemble during his outing.

Dressed in dark blue jeans and a tight-fitting white t-shirt, the veteran TV host showcased his toned abs. Reflective sunglasses framed the star's face as he held a suave-looking blazer and backpack.

Married to This Morning co-host Judy Finnigan, Richard left his locks untouched with a side parting and sported his signature close shave.

Previously their daughter Chloe, 31, revealed that Judy had decided to retired from television work, while Richard, would continue in showbusiness.

The famous couple hosted This Morning from its inception in 1998 to 2001 before taking on their show - Richard and Judy - in 2001 for eight years. 

Chloe told The Sun: 'My mum is done with TV and if she went back to it I don’t think it would make her happy.

'She wants to concentrate on other things, such as her health and our family.'

Despite Judy being done with the screen, Richard has scooped up a role on Good Morning Britain, after a wildly successful trial run while standing in for host Piers Morgan. 

An ITV studio source said: 'Richard polls really well with viewers, and also garners a big social media response whenever he’s on.

'Both ITV and Richard are keen for him to become a regular member of the GMB family. 

'He’ll be Piers Morgan’s regular stand-in during his fairly regular holidays, and do one day every couple of weeks.'
