New photo Jesinta Campbell reveals her private battle with anxiety

Jesinta Franklin (née Campbell) has revealed that she suffers from anxiety so severe it once stopped her leaving her house.

The 27-year-old says her mental health battles began when she won Miss Universe in 2010.

'It was just so overwhelming. There were days where it was really hard for me to go outside because I felt like everyone was looking at me,' the model told Perth Now.

'A few years ago, I was lying in bed and I felt like I couldn't breathe, and that my chest was caving in,' she added.

After seeing a doctor the beauty was diagnosed with anxiety, and now sees a healthcare professional to help treat it.

She also finds comfort in husband Lance 'Buddy' Franklin who has suffered from mental health issues himself.

'My husband can sense when I'm anxious and helps me through it. He has been through his own battles with mental health, and I think it's nice that we can talk about it together,' she told the publication.

The 31-year-old AFL star and his model wife will soon celebrate their upcoming two-year wedding anniversary.

The sports personality proposed to Jesinta in December 2014 after 14 months of dating.

They were wed in early November 2016, at the lavish Wildenstein Gardens in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales.

In an interview with Sunrise earlier this year, Jesinta told co-hosts David Koch and Samantha Armytage that their relationship hasn't really changed since saying 'I do'.

She said: 'On the [wedding] day, you do feel like there is a deeper connection, but I don't think the day-to-day stuff changes.'

To achieve her kick-ass figure, Hayden – who plays cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes – follows the ‘quartering’ rule. She eats only a quarter of the food on her plate, then waits 20 minutes before deciding whether she needs to eat again.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”

SATC star Kim swears by gym sessions with Russian kettle bells (traditional cast-iron weights) and the South Beach Diet to give her the body she wants. To avoid overeating, Kim has a radical diet trick – squirting lemon juice on her leftovers – so she won’t carry on picking.

Kim says: “I am no super-thin Hollywood actress. I am built for men who like women to look like women.”
