EAMONN Holmes has branded Liz Hurley’s relationship with her son Damian “weird”.
The presenter, 58, made his feelings known on today’s Loose Women, after the actress and her 16-year-old discussed their close bond in a joint magazine interview.
Eamonn was supporting his wife Ruth Langsford on the show, where she was discussing the notion of “embarrassing” parents with Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore and Denise Welch.
Addressing Liz and Damian’s recent YOU Magazine interview, Ruth revealed the model had said her son was like “her soulmate”, and posed beside him for a number of photos.
Laughing at the thought of doing the same with her own son, Ruth said: “Can you imagine me trying to take that sort of photo with Jack! He’d be like “Urgh mum get off!”
Before Eamonn chimed in from the audience: “It’s weird. I’m sorry, it’s seriously weird.”
Denise Welch then admitted she was a “bit jealous” of their relationship, as her boys have blocked her on all social media.
Liz and Damian are known to be close, with the teenager even snapping many of his mother’s sizzling holiday snaps.
She said on Watch What Happens Live earlier this year: “When we’re on holiday together, sure he’ll take some pictures.
“He’s got a really good eye and he’s studying photography.”
She said any suggestion that this was inappropriate was “ridiculous” – and that she also used other family members and professional photographers to get the snaps she wants.

The model welcomed Damian in 2002 after a brief fling with businessman Steve Bing, who neither have a relationship with today.
The swimwear designer opened up about being a single mother to YOU Magazine, and admitted she tends to spoil him rotten when he comes home from boarding school.
She said: “Because he’s away all week and has to make his own bed and tidy his room, I’m probably overindulgent when he’s around to make up for it.
“Given I’m a single mother and he’s an only child, by default we spend a lot of time together and we are utterly comfortable in each other’s company.”
