The moment was captured by photographer and trip leader Ellie Rothnie

Trip leader Ellie Rothnie, of Powys, Wales, snapped the birds as they landed.

Ellie said: “Ole has developed a relationship with the gulls over many years.

“It’s fair to say that he loves them, as much as he does the White-tailed sea eagle.

“Ole feeds the seagulls from the boat and this attracts the attention of the White-tailed sea eagles.

Ellie says Ole has ‘developed the trust of these gulls’, who will sit on his head for a photograph
