"Many Photos" - What songs did Pink perform during her Brits 2019 performance, who did she duet with and did the singer have a political message?

GLOBAL superstar Pink left the audience and viewers wanting more when she performed a medley of her hits at the Brits 2019.

What songs did Pink perform at the Brits 2019?

Pink ended the Brit Awards with an epic performance of some of her biggest hits.

The singer had the audience on their feet as she belted out her much-loved songs:

• Pink started off with her new song Walk Me Home, which she had just released hours earlier (on February 20, 2019). She started the performance off in her dressing room wearing a fluffy robe before heading to the stage.


• The singer then switched to a billowy red feather cloak and descended upon centre stage in an aerial hoop to sing Just Like Fire.


• She followed this song with her 2013 hit Just Give Me a Reason.


• Pink then got a huge cheer from the crowd when she belted out Try.


• The superstar ended her stellar performance with her 2017 song What About Us.

Who did Pink duet with?

Bastille’s Dan Smith joined Pink  for Just Give Me a Reason.

He was filling in for Fun’s Nate Ruess who she originally sang the Top Ten hit with.

The pair were also accompanied by a choir.

Did Pink’s Brits 2019 performance have a political message?

Pink decided to send a political message for the What About Us finale.

Dressed in newspaper-printed clothing she stood alongside her dancers as footage of protests filled the screen behind them.

Everyone came together at the performance’s finish, throwing their fists up in the air and holding up candles for a powerful closing statement.

The newspaper print jacket Pink wore held a number of important headlines and messages, which covered racial issues, as well as LGBTQ rights and female empowerment.

The messages on the jacket included: “Me Too”, “Black Lives Matter”, “I’m With Her”, “Choose Love, Not Hate”, “Fight Lesbian And Gay Oppression”, “Human Rights” and “No Human Being Is Illegal”.

What award did Pink win at the Brits 2019?

Pink was honoured with the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution To Music.

This puts her in the company of Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Elton John and the Spice Girls.

Upon excepting the award she said: “One of the reasons why I am successful is because I surround myself with people that are better than me.

“It’s been an awesome 20 years, here’s to 20 more!”
