JOHN Barrowman is favourite to be crowned king of the jungle after the I’m A Celebrity star impresses fans in week one.
According to readers of The Sun who have signed up to The Jungle Game online, John is leading the way with 19.6 per cent of the votes.
He’s followed closely by the Governess Anne Hegerty in second place (17.3 per cent), with 15 per cent of gamers thinking Harry Redknapp will be champion.
John – who has already become known for his popular catchphrase “fabulous” – has proved popular since the show’s launch on Sunday.
He hopes to be crowned I’m A Celebrity’s first gender-fluid winner, saying: “I would be over the moon if I won.”
Superfans who have been playing The Sun’s I’m A Celebrity game – which offers the chance to win daily prizes and a holiday worth £5K – have been left than impressed by campmate Sair Khan.

The Coronation Street actress is lagging behind the rest of her co-stars with just 0.7 per cent of players thinking she’ll be the next jueen of the jungle.
Meanwhile John has already had the camp in fits of giggles with his huge personality, sense of fun and enthusiasm to sing whenever possible.
We’ve only seen him slightly irritable once, after Noel Edmonds was made Emperor on his arrival into camp.

When John, 51, moved his hand as he went to ask a question. Quick as a flash, Noel ordered him not to scratch his crotch while addressing the Emperor.
John did not appreciate the quip — setting up the first clash of the series. He told the Jungle Telegraph: “I know he was trying to make a joke and be funny but it didn’t land well with me.
“And for that moment — I’m probably being overly sensitive, and it’s at this exact time that my husband would say I need a sandwich.
“I’m an adult, I know that. It was just that moment and some of us are feeling ‘Arhhh’.”
