New photo How ISIS’ most extreme and violent guerrilla terrorists are fighting to the death to cling onto last major pocket

ISIS’ most violent and extreme guerrilla terrorists are fighting to death to cling onto their last major stronghold.

Hundreds of brave soldiers from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been left severely injured in the operation to rid jihadists from Hajin, in eastern Syria.

Marvan Qamishlo, the SDF spokesperson in Al-Hasakah military base said fighters in the small town are the “most experienced”, with most “willing to fight to the death”.

He added: : “Hajin is where their final Wilayah [state] is – it is [now] the capital of ISIS’s remaining protectorate.”

Hassan, an SDF soldier who has had his lower right leg amputated and is now wheelchair bound, insists he wants to “get back to the fight”

Explaining his desperation to get back to the battlefield, the 21-year-old said: “ISIS has had over five years to prepare for this battle, and it is the typical environment for guerrilla fighting.

“I can still fight, one of my comrades is on the frontlines with a prosthetic leg, I am just waiting on mine.”

The SDF, an alliance of Arab and Kurdish soldiers backed by the US, have been battling the bloodthirsty extremists since 2012.

But soldiers have been battling to rid extremists from the small town since September this year.

Following the loss of their de-facto capital, Raqqa, last year many of the remaining ISIS jihadists – including several top lieutenants – fled to the town of Hajin along the Syrian-Iraqi border.

A local military hospital  is the central treatment point for those injured in this fight against ISIS in eastern Syria.

Havel Militant, one of the commanders at the Omar oil fields believes the international community could and should do more.

He said: “One of our battalion commanders died on the road to the hospital [in Al-Hasakah] recently…  and he would have survived if he had been medevac’d there.

“We appreciate the support the international coalition is giving us, but, the American’s have helicopters at their base – 2 kilometers away – that could give us medical support.”

It is this lack of aid that he believes is causing unnecessary loss of life amongst their soldiers.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
