CHANNING Tatum’s ex Jenna Dewan has declared she’s got “nothing but respect” for his new girlfriend Jessie J in a heartfelt message.
The 37-year-old posted the heartfelt message after the British singer took to social media to address comparisons fans have made between the pair.
It’s the first time the actress has openly contacted her ex-husband’s new partner, who revealed earlier this week that she can’t have children.
In an Instagram post, the Voice judge explained it was wrong for people to pit her against another “beautiful woman”.
She wrote: “I spent so much of my childhood trying to be comfortable in my skin just like so many other little girls, and when I get older, decided to spend my career making lots of music to try and help / inspire myself and all other women to see their beauty from the inside out and will continue to do so.
“Man does this world need it. More now than ever.”
Writing in a screenshot message on Twitter, Jenna responded: “Amen Jessie! Yes!!!! Women for women all the way. No need for negativity. Let’s live in a world where we support each other and raise each other up.
“Like I said before, positive vibes all the way. Nothing but respect <3”.
Earlier, Jenna had asked her fans to relax after some got into a heated discussion about Jessie J in the comments of one of her Instagram pictures.
People began discussing whether the pair, who both have similar hair, resemble one another.
One fan wrote: “FIRST OF ALL…. Whenever I hear of the ‘striking resemblance’ w/ Jessie J to Jenna Dewan.. my only thoughts are ummmmm no, not even close.
“And I don’t have a horse in the race but gf you are untouchable. Just trying to spread positive vibes, keep doing you… to an absolute outsider from a small town you are doing it seamlessly.”
Responding her fan’s words, Jenna remarked: “Positive vibes all the way.”
Not all of her followers were so calm though, with some getting into an argument over the matter.

After one person criticised someone for mentioning Channing’s new singer girlfriend Jessie on actress Jenna’s page, they started to hit out at each other.
One person wrote: “Excuse me but wasn’t it you two who brought up Jessie J in the first place by comparing her to Jenna? And now you’re telling me to stop talking about Jessie J here? Maaaan. SO inconsistent.
“And sure, instead of attacking the argument, bring up the ‘you’re a man, I’m a woman’ card. That’s rather weak. Some lawyer you are. Sorry but that’s utterly disappointing.”
Jessie confirmed her romance with actor Channing after stepping out to watch him in Magic Mike Live at the opening night in London recently.
After his performance, she tweeted: “Congratulations @channingtataum. What a show…. Ladies and Gentlemen you don’t want to miss this.”
