THIS is the stunning moment a rugby star is punched in the face in an attack that left him knocked out for TEN minutes before being rushed to hospital.
The shocking attack came in Barcelona University Club’s clash with Tatami in Spain’s Honor B Division.
Footage shows a fight break out while Tatami are attacking.
One player is knocked to the ground but quickly gets back up.
But as Tatami’s Cesare Sempere walks away from the scene he is smacked straight in the face by BUC’s Milton Alcaraz.
Spanish international Sempere falls to the ground in a heap before his team-mate Matias Tudela clobbers Alcaraz to the floor.
The BUC ace manages to get up but Sempere remains KO’d on the floor as a mass brawl erupts around him.
Local media report Sempere was unconscious on the ground for ten minutes before being taken to a local hospital in an ambulance.
He reportedly required six stitches to close a wound around his mouth.
The Spanish international has reportedly recovered and took to social media, writing: “We’ll be back to feel the adrenaline of the match with @Tatami_Rugby and with friends who don’t let you down.

“Many thanks for the messages of support I received after the match! We’ll back in the arena soon.”
BUC released a statement slamming both sets of players for the violent scenes.
It read: “We want to strongly condemn any act of violence on the part of any player in the practice of our sport, both from our team and from our rivals.
“The BUC does not tolerate or allow aggression of any kind, so the corresponding actions have been initiated to discipline those people in the club that have participated in the events by violently attacking the players of the rival team, awaiting the decision of what the governing body deem appropriate.
“Rugby is a contact sport, but violence can not fit into it.”
