New photo Ryder Cup 2018: Tony Finau hits incredibly lucky shot off railway sleepers as USA take charge after morning fourballs

TONY FINAU’S incredibly lucky shot that bounced off railway sleepers and ended up next to the hole put he USA on course to victory in the morning fourballs.

The American’s tee shot on the par-three 16th looked bound for the water in front of the green.

But it had just enough legs to creep over the lake and crash into the railway sleepers.

From there the ball went flying into the air and miraculously nestled next to the cup.

Finau then rolled in the birdie putt to draw him and partner Brooks Koepka level with Justin Rose and Jon Rahm.

That was the first time in the entire match they had not trailed and the US duo won the last to take the match one up.

Jim Furyk’s side lead 3-1  after the opening session at Le Golf National.

Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler took apart rookie Thorbjorn Olesen and Rory McIlroy 4&2.

The four-time Major champion from Northern Ireland had an absolute stinker and was the only player all morning not to record a single birdie.

Best buddies Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth held off a spirited fightback from Paul Casey and Tyrrell Hatton.

Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”

Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”

Kim says: “I am no super-thin Hollywood actress. I am built for men who like women to look like women.”
